The field
Held in the grass.
The room stays low. The meadow does the rest.
The glass
Smooth as glass.On a steel frame.
Clear, mirrored, or tinted, and flat. The room sits on its steel frame in the grass. Two sides can open, and a panel can be the door.
The frame
In the grass.
Mirror glass along the length, a low metal roof, and the steel frame under it. No blocks, no raised deck.
The trees
Held at the edge.
A door, mirror glass, and a glass wall that folds down into a balcony, with a deck around the room. The room can be moved.
The wall
Tinted, and open.
Floor-to-ceiling glass, smoked and smooth. One panel is the door. The frame is steel.
The office
Away from the woods.
A desk, a lamp, and a computer, on the open part of the property. The trees stay on the far line. The work stays here.

The screen, at dusk.
Two walls of clear glass meet at the corner. The laptop stays on the walnut. One panel opens to the grass.
The glass
Two sides, clear.
Full walls of smooth glass. A panel opens like a door.
The night
A bed, and the stars.
The kitchen is gone. A low bed, and a skylight cut so the night sky is in the room.
Lounge
A place to sit.
Linen along one wall, a low oak table, the long glass left clear.
The room
Sleep under the sky.
Linen, oak, the meadow ahead, and the stars in a second opening overhead.
Roof
A rail on the roof.
The same long room, with a thin rail above the glass. The tub, when it is the point, has its own steel frame.
The tub
Under clear panels.
The same steel frame as the room. A gazebo of clear glass, open on two sides.
The frame
Built on the chassis.
A wood-fired cedar tub on the steel frame, with clear glass around it and two panels open. Move across it. The steam keeps its own time.
Later
Farther out.
The room comes first. The glass floor, and the resorts, come after.
